Caitlin Clark is losing a couple Benjamins — and she doesn’t mind!
After criticizing the officiating following the Indiana Fever’s win over the Atlanta Dream last week, the WNBA star said she was fined by the league.

“Got fined $200 for this lol,” Clark, 23, wrote on X alongside a series of crying-laughing emojis on Saturday, Sept. 20. “BENCH MOB WILL BE EVEN MORE ROWDY TOMORROW LETS GOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
The fine was pegged to comments Clark — who has been on the bench for over two months with a groin injury — made on Instagram after the Fever upset the Dream in game 2 of the first-round series, writing “Elite bench mob” and “Refs couldn’t stop.”
Clark’s opining came after the officiating took center stage during game 1 of the series, when the teams combined for 43 fouls — and the Fever were called for two technicals.
Still, the underdogs went on to win games 2 and 3, advancing to the semis in which they are facing the Las Vegas Aces, who entered the postseason on a 16-0 run.

On Sunday, Indiana continued to shock, upending A’ja Wilson’s squad, 89-73.

Clark’s teammate Sophie Cunningham also had fun with the fine, joking on social media about the inconsequential amount.
“That’s really gonna break the bank for her,” Cunningham, 29, wrote. “Starting a GoFundMe now!”
After walking off the court in Georgia last week with the series win, Clark — who has been injured and on the bench since July 15 — basked in the win, sending a “W” hand gesture to the booing crowd.
Still, being sidelined hasn’t been all fun and games for the WNBA superstar.
Earlier this month on her Instagram Stories, Clark shared an image of herself on the court, celebrating as fans behind her cheered.

“I miss this so bad,” Clark wrote.
The second-year star has only played 13 games this year after suffering the injury in a game against the Connecticut Sun.
The team later revealed that a left ankle bone bruise has further complicated her recovery.
