The final dates for the Colorado men’s basketball team’s 2025-26 schedule are in place.

On Tuesday, the Big 12 Conference announced its league schedule, with the Buffaloes set to begin their second season back in the Big 12 on Jan. 3 at Arizona State. CU will visit the Phoenix area twice in two weeks, as the Buffs play the penultimate game of the nonconference slate against Stanford at PHX Arena, home of the city’s NBA and WNBA franchises.

The pairings for league play were released in June, but Tuesday’s announcement finalizes the dates of the 18-game league schedule, with the Big 12 reverting this year from a 20-game league schedule. The tipoff times and television information will be announced at a later date.

Following the date at ASU, the Buffs return to the CU Events Center for consecutive home games against Utah (Jan. 7) and Texas Tech (Jan. 10). By the standards of the Big 12, the Buffs have a somewhat favorable home schedule within the conference. While Kansas visits on Jan. 20, CU’s other Big 12 home dates include Central Florida, TCU, Arizona State, Oklahoma State, Kansas State and the regular-season finale against Arizona on March 7.

After having no two-game trips in league play last year, the Buffs’ second road trip of conference play will feature consecutive games at Cincinnati (Jan. 14) and West Virginia (Jan. 17). CU has another potential two-game trip in February with consecutive dates at Texas Tech (Feb. 11) and BYU (Feb. 14).

The Buffs’ other Big 12 road games will be at Iowa State, Baylor, Houston and Utah.

CU opens its 16th season under head coach Tad Boyle on Nov. 3 against Montana State, the first of five consecutive home games to start the season.
