Madera Speedway hosts Open Wheel and NASCAR racing excitement this Saturday night, September 27th, with the 52nd annual Harvest Classic. The Madera 150 presented by Madera Ford and the West Coast Stock Car Hall of Fame features the NASCAR-sanctioned ARCA Menards Series West. Four divisions of open wheel action are on tap with the Speed Tour Super Modifieds, NCMA Sprint Cars, Legends of Kearney Bowl and BCRA Vintage Midgets as well.
 
Grandstands open at 1:30pm for fans to enjoy practice and qualifying. Super Modified heat races kick off the racing program at 4:55pm followed by vintage main events at 5:10pm The NCMA Sprint Car 30-lap feature is at 5:30pm. A free on-track pre-race party begins at 6pm with autographs and live music. The Madera 150 for the NASCAR West Series goes green at 7:30pm, followed by the Harvest Classic for the Super Modifieds to close the show.
 
All tickets are general admission and available online or at the gates. Adult tickets are $40 while kids 6-12 are $25. Kids 5 and under are free!
 
2025 ARCA Menards Series, West points leader Trevor Huddleston dominated the 2024 edition of the Madera 150 and aims for a repeat performance at the one-third mile speedway. Former Madera Speedway champion and multi-time Short Track Shootout winner Kyle Keller from Madera, Calif. is hot on Huddleston’s trail. Keller earned his first career victory at Tri-City in Washington in August and is just 12 points behind in the championship. Keller’s teammate, Madera’s Robbie Kennealy, just won his first West Series race in September at Roseville’s All American Speedway
 
Former Madera West polesitter Eric Nascimento, Jr. of Manteca and former 51FIFTY Jr. Late Model Series champion Joey Iest of Madera are also expected in action. Regulars on the circuit include Jr. Late Model graduates Tanner Reif of Henderson, Nevada and Jake Bollman of Huntington Beach, along with Washington’s Eric Johnson, Jr., Mass. driver Blake Lothian, veteran contender Todd Souza, and Canadian driver David Smith.
 
The Speed Tour Super Modifieds are the fastest machines to race at the Madera Speedway each season. The one of a kind Winged machines reach top speeds over 100 miles per hour. Saturday’s 40-lap Harvest Classic will also crown the 2025 series champion. Morgan Hill’s Bobby Dalton leads the standings followed by Fresno’s Jim Birges, Canadian driver Jimmy White, Washington’s Randy Anderson, and the ageless Hall of Famer Kenny Hamilton from Idaho.
 
The NCMA Sprint Cars make their fourth stop of the 2025 season at Madera Speedway with a 30-lap feature scheduled. 10-time USAC champion Tony Hunt of Rocklin is the championship points leader with two wins at Madera this year. The Hunt racing family was inducted into the West Coast Stock Car Hall of Fame this year. Defending 2024 Harvest Classic winner Shauna Hogg of Fair Oaks is the other 2025 series winner at Madera Speedway.
 
Saturday pit gates open at 11am with the drivers meeting at 12:30pm. Practice begins at 1:30pm. Qualifying hits the track at 3:50 followed by Super Modified heat races at 4:55pm. The vintage and NCMA Sprint Car features take place at 5:10pm. The free pre-race party is at 6pm with opening ceremonies at 7pm. The Madera 150 for the ARCA Menards Series, West and the Harvest Classic for the Speed Tour Super Modifieds follows.
