The NASCAR GP Germany 2025 at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben proved to be an overwhelming success, drawing a record crowd of 18,000 fans over the weekend. The event revolving around the first leg of the NASCAR Euro Series playoffs, blended the intensity of European NASCAR racing with the vibrant spirit of Americana, creating an unforgettable motorsport festival and delivering some of the most exciting racing in Europe.

Fans embraced the full experience, many camping in the infield with motorhomes, tents, and classic American cars. They enjoyed not only thrilling racing on track but also a rich program of attractions including live music, a US Army marching band, fireworks, American football players and displays that turned Oschersleben into a true NASCAR village.

On track, the first round of the Playoffs produced some of the most spectacular racing in series history. On Saturday, a dramatic “big one” in the opening lap of the PRO championship set the stage for Liam Hezemans to emerge victorious, delivering American team Rette Jones Racing their first European win with the support of Hendriks Motorsport. In OPEN, 17-year-old sensation Bruno Mulders made history with a maiden victory on the #72 Team Bleekemolen Toyota Camry, showcasing a masterful defensive drive under pressure and his huge potential for the future.

Sunday brought even more drama. In OPEN, Thomas Krasonis triumphed for PK Carsport in a fantastic, breathtaking six-way battle with a masterful move on Mulders, reinforcing his lead at the top of the standings.
