The Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Healthcare and Insurance Forum on Sept. 30.
The event will run from 9 a.m. to noon at the Hutchinson Community College Stringer Fine Arts Center, 600 E. 11th Ave., according to a community announcement.
The forum will begin with a “State of Healthcare” panel featuring Benjamin Anderson, CEO of Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Bryant Anderson, CEO of PrairieStar Health Center, and Kolbe Sheridan, CEO of Hutchinson Clinic. The panelists will discuss workforce challenges, innovations in patient care and how local businesses can support community health.
After the panel, attendees can connect with health insurance providers in an exhibit-style format. Participating providers include Farm Bureau Financial Service — Mary Winter Agency, Heartland Retirement & Benefits Consulting, LLC, Fee Insurance, ProValue Insurance, ECG Insurance, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas and Great Plains Physicians Health Plan.
“This forum is a unique opportunity for small business owners and community members to explore insurance solutions, ask questions and connect with local providers,” said Debra Teufel, President/CEO, Hutch Chamber.
Chamber membership is not required to attend.
