A suspect whom a deputy shot after a scuffle at Links Edge Condominiums on Saxony Circle in Deep Creek has died, Charlotte County Sheriff Bill Prummell said.The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office released a video on the agency’s Facebook page stating Daniel Burch’s condition had declined overnight.Burch, 50, died on Thursday morning, according to Sheriff Prummell.On Tuesday night, deputies received a call about a battery that involved the suspect, and while deputies were speaking with the victim, that’s when he approached, CCSO said.According to CCSO, words were exchanged leading up to shots being fired. A suspect whom a deputy shot after a scuffle at Links Edge Condominiums on Saxony Circle in Deep Creek has died, Charlotte County Sheriff Bill Prummell said.

The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office released a video on the agency’s Facebook page stating Daniel Burch’s condition had declined overnight.

Burch, 50, died on Thursday morning, according to Sheriff Prummell.

On Tuesday night, deputies received a call about a battery that involved the suspect, and while deputies were speaking with the victim, that’s when Burch approached, CCSO said.
