Former NASCAR Xfinity Series champion Daniel Hemric will return for two more events as Kaulig Racing continues to evaluate its program.
According to a Friday announcement, Hemric will take over the No. 11 Chevrolet Camaro at the Charlotte Roval on Oct. 4. He will then return to the entry the following weekend for the Oct. 11 race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Hemric, a Truck Series championship contender, has one start for Kaulig Racing this season. He previously joined the team at World Wide Technology Raceway and finished seventh as all three of the team’s drivers delivered top-10 finishes.

The reunion provides Hemric with an opportunity to contend for more strong finishes at two tracks where he has performed well throughout his career.
The veteran driver has made six Xfinity starts at the Charlotte Roval. He has finished inside the top 10 in five of these races. This includes a pair of third-place finishes in 2020 and ’21.
Hemric has 11 Xfinity starts at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. He has finished inside the top 10 in eight of these races, which includes two third-place finishes and one runner-up.
Hemric is no stranger to Kaulig Racing. He previously spent two seasons driving the No. 11 Chevrolet. He made the playoffs both times before moving up to the Cup Series to drive Kaulig’s No. 31 machine in 2024.
Of course, the native of Kannapolis, North Carolina, gained extensive experience in NASCAR’s secondary series before joining Kaulig Racing. He spent two full seasons in a Richard Childress Racing entry and one partial season with JR Motorsports. Hemric also spent one season in RCR’s No. 8 Cup Series car before Tyler Reddick replaced him.
Hemric’s most productive season in Xfinity occurred in 2021. He drove the No. 19 for Joe Gibbs Racing and delivered in the biggest moment of his career.
He reached the Championship 4 for the third time in his career and scored the first national series win of his career. This win happened to be the season finale at Phoenix Raceway, which sealed the title for Hemric.
