ORO VALLEY, Ariz. (KVOA) – The Oro Valley Police Department was alerted to a bear sighting near Woodbourne Ave and Arrowsmith Dr.
Arizona Game and Fish has been called to address the situation.
Painted Sky Elementary School has been asked to shelter in place as a precautionary measure.
Oro Valley Police Department will remain in the area to assist with safety.
Residents with small animals are advised to bring them inside.
