It was a blast from the past over the weekend in Salt Lake City for Home Improvement fans.
Three cast members from Home Improvement attended the FanX event. Patricia Richardson (Jill), Richard Karn (Al), and Debbe Dunning (Heidi) were on hand to represent the ’90s sitcom.
Fans Gush Over Home Improvement Cast Reunion
“Home Improvement Cast Patricia Richardson, Richard Karn, and Debbe Dunning have completed their first convention reunion at #FANX in Salt Lake. @celebworx booking now for 2026 appearance tour,” read the caption on an Instagram share from Karn, Dunning, and CelebWorx, the company behind the fan convention.
The post included a photo of Dunning, Richardson, and Karn posing together. They looked fabulous, and it didn’t go unnoticed by fans in the comments section.
“Y’all look great 😍😍😍,” said one fan. Another wrote, “You all look amazing!”
A different fan kept it simple, writing, “Wow!!! 😍😍🥰” One fan stated, “Richard Carn is clearly a vampire”, while another called the three Home Improvement stars “A trio of class act talent.”
More comments included, “How great is this❤️” and “🫶 the best 😍.”
Other fans were upset that Tim Allen wasn’t at the convention. A fan wrote, “One man is missing. 🤔😯 Tim wasn’t there???”
There’s good news for those who were missing Allen. A Home Improvement reunion with him is happening soon.

Home Improvement Cast To Appear on Shifting Gears
As Parade reported, Richardson, Karn, Dunning, and Allen are reuniting on screen for the first time in 25 years. The Home Improvement stars will appear in the Season 2 premiere of Allen’s latest series, Shifting Gears.
One fan expressed excitement to see some of the Home Improvement gang back together again, writing, “Can’t wait to see all three of you in the second season of Shifting Gears.”
Allen teased the mini reunion during a recent appearance on Good Morning America. The actor revealed his former co-stars pop up at a grief support group his character, Matt, attends.
“It was so much fun!” Allen shared with Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos, adding, “It was a beautiful moment,” referring to the scene he shares with his Home Improvement co-stars.
Shifting Gears Season 2 premieres on Wednesday, October 1 at 8/7c.
