The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) returns with another action-filled season for its 101st edition this October, with a theme, “Building Greatness.”
Hosted by Sparkle hosts and stars Martian Javier, Ashley Ortega, and Anjo Pertierra, the NCAA Season 101 will open on October 1, 12 p.m., at the Araneta Coliseum, and will air on GTV at 1:30 p.m.
All-Out Sundays Divas of Queendom Thea Astley, Hannah Precillas, and Naya Ambi will also perform the Season 101 theme song, “Own the Future,” at the ceremony, along with a special performance by Aicelle Santos.
The opening ceremony will be followed by two highly anticipated basketball games between the Mapua Cardinals and the LPU Pirates, and the Benilde Blazers and the San Beda Red Lions.
