HOWELL TWP., MI — A historically rural community on major transportation routes is grappling with whether to allow an unidentified tech giant to construct a $1 billion data center campus to power AI and other computing technologies.
Howell Township planners and some local residents oppose rezoning land for the data center project, but others in favor of the project see it as a benefit to the community, which is located between Howell and Fowlerville.
