At least five homes collapsed into the Atlantic Ocean in North Carolina during two hurricanes on Tuesday, according to reports.

CNN shared video that showed the moments one of the homes crashed into the water.

There it goes!” a man yells off-camera as the house slams down.

It wasn’t immediately known if anyone was hurt.

The destruction was the result of Hurricanes Humberto and Imelda, CNN reported.

The hurricanes haven’t made landfall in the U.S., but their wrath was felt along North Carolina’s coast, including the Outer Banks, as rough surf and flooding impacted the area.

The National Weather Service (NWS) on Tuesday said swells and high surf from Humberto and Imelda were expected to produce “dangerous marine conditions and rip currents” along the east coast during the next several days.

NWS also said Imelda is expected to cause damaging hurricane-force-winds to Bermuda when it passes near or over that island by Wednesday afternoon or evening. A Hurricane Warning was in effect for the area, NWS said.

Both storms churning through the Atlantic are producing dangerous rip currents and rough surf. Beaches from Florida to New Jersey may have hazardous conditions through the weekend.” said Alex DaSilva, lead hurricane expert for AccuWeather, a private U.S. weather forecasting company.

Earlier this week, Imelda battered eastern Cuba, killing two people, according to Prime Minister Manuel Marrero. He said on X that the two victims died in Santiago de Cuba province, but did not give any details.

State media reported that 60-year-old Luis Mario Pérez Coiterio died in Santiago de Cuba following landslides in that area.
