MURRAY — The Missouri Valley Conference released its 2025-26 men’s basketball schedule, the first for new Murray State Head Coach Ryan Miller and the fourth for the Racers in The Valley.
The 20-game league challenge has the Racers playing three games in December including the opener at Murray (Dec. 18) against Drake, before an away game (Dec. 21) against Valparaiso. The Racers wrap up the month at home (Dec. 29) against Southern Illinois.
For the first time since 2022, the Racers play on New Year’s Day in Chicago against UIC. This game marks the 10th time in program history to play a game on the first day of the year.
Eight Valley games await the Racers in January including home games with Bradley (Jan. 4), Valparaiso (Jan. 10), Indiana State (Jan. 17) and Illinois State (Jan. 28).
The final four home games of the season take place in February with games against UIC (Feb. 3), Northern Iowa (Feb. 9), Belmont (Feb. 15) and Evansville (Feb. 21).
The Racers’ 101st season leads to State Farm Arch Madness in St. Louis (March 5-8) when the Valley Tournament is held at the Enterprise Center for a 36th consecutive year.
