FRIDAY 10/3/25 UPDATE:On Friday morning, the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s office identified the victim in Thursday night’s shooting on Perry Street in the Hill District as Gerald L. Pittsburgh police are investigating a homicide in the city’s Hill District neighborhood Thursday night, public safety officials said.

Emergency dispatchers said the shooting on Perry Street happened shortly after 6:50 p.m.
