Fujitsu and NVIDIA have announced an expanded strategic collaboration aimed at creating a comprehensive AI infrastructure that integrates AI agents. This initiative seeks to enhance enterprise competitiveness through AI while maintaining autonomy in AI utilization.
The collaboration will focus on co-developing an AI agent platform tailored for industry-specific applications in sectors such as healthcare, manufacturing, and robotics. Additionally, an AI computing infrastructure will be developed that seamlessly integrates Fujitsu’s FUJITSU-MONAKA CPU series with NVIDIA GPUs via NVIDIA NVLink Fusion.
The combined AI agent platform and computing infrastructure aim to accelerate the AI industrial revolution with AI agents that continuously learn and improve, enabling cross-industry, self-evolving, full-stack AI infrastructure that overcomes the limitations of general-purpose computing systems.
Fujitsu’s CEO, Takahito Tokita, emphasized that this collaboration will accelerate AI-driven business transformation in enterprise and government sectors, starting with manufacturing, where Japan is a global leader. NVIDIA’s CEO, Jensen Huang, highlighted the importance of building the infrastructure to power the AI industrial revolution, both in Japan and globally.
Through this initiative, Fujitsu aims to transform industries starting in Japan, fostering widespread AI adoption that expands globally, thereby enhancing competitiveness across all sectors and contributing to a sustainable society.
