A large-scale response is underway after a medical helicopter crashed onto a freeway in Sacramento Monday evening.
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KGO) — A large-scale response is underway after a medical helicopter crashed onto a freeway in Sacramento Monday evening.
The crash was reported just after 7 p.m. on eastbound Highway 50, just east of Stockton Boulevard.
Sacramento fire officials say three people are in critical condition following the crash.
REACH Air Medical services confirmed three crew members were hurt in the crash. They say no patients on board.
No bystanders were hurt.
Highway 50 remains shut down.
