LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) – A man has died in San Antonio after succumbing to injuries sustained in an auto-pedestrian accident on October 2 in north Laredo.
The accident took place on Riverbank Dr. at the 12100 block in the Mines Rd. area around 6 a.m. First responders discovered the victim, 55-year-old Juan Manuel Garcia, still breathing but unconscious.
Police report that Garcia was hit by an 18-year-old driver while crossing the street without warning.
The Laredo Police Department’s Crash Team Unit is handling the investigation after Garcia’s death.
