When 32 singles from Denver entered the “Love Is Blind” pods, they all hoped for a happily ever after.
However, five episodes later, only five couples left the pods engaged and set out for a romantic getaway. But the journey for the five couples is far from over, and they are yet to see if the connections they made in the pods will last beyond it.
The latest season of the popular reality dating show follows the formula that earned the show an Emmy nomination: the group of singles enter pods where they go on “dates” with each other, with a catch: they don’t know what each other looks like. Contestants form bonds and make decisions about compatibility while chatting through a wall, eventually getting engaged before meeting face-to-face for the first time.
“When their wedding day arrives, will real-world realities and external factors push them apart, or will they marry the person they fell blindly in love with?” the series synopsis says.

When do new episodes of ‘Love is Blind’ come out? Season 9 schedule
“Love is Blind” will have 12 episodes, which release in batches on Wednesdays on Netflix. The entire season will be released by the end of October.
The next batch of episodes are set drop on the streaming platform on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT.

Season 9 of “Love Is Blind” premiered on Netflix on Oct. 1. New episodes will drop exclusively on the streaming services each Wednesday through the end of the month.

Season 9’s pod squad included singles between the ages of 27 and 41, per Netflix. Amongst them is a championship poker player, a former COVID crisis nurse, a single father, and a couple of avid concertgoers. Netflix added that the group includes “a lot of Aries women and many Gemini men.”
