The Texas Court of Criminal Appeals  has stayed the execution for Robert Roberson, of Anderson County. He was condemned for the murder of his 2-year-old daughter Nikki. Prosecutors said during the trial that she died of “shaken baby syndrome”, but some medical experts said she died of complications from pneumonia and his conviction was based on flawed and now outdated scientific evidence.  Roberson was scheduled to be put to death  on October 16.
