Arlington ice cream shops are preparing to scoop out some sweet deals in honor of National Ice Cream Day this Sunday.
Here’s a look at some local parlors that plan to offer discounted scoops for the annual celebration, along with a couple other local flavors to try anytime.
The D.C.-area shop is doing a buy one scoop, get one free deal for all flavors this Sunday.
4238 Wilson Blvd (Ballston) and 151 W. Falls Station Blvd (Falls Church)
The national chain is offering discounted $3 scoops of its honeycomb ice cream from noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday. This weekend marks the 10th anniversary of the Van Leeuwen flavor.
269 19th Court S. (Crystal City)
Jeni’s will serve its new sundae fudge sauce for free with any ice cream order on Sunday.
4150 Campbell Avenue (Shirlington)
Cold Stone is offering daily deals throughout the week for National Ice Cream Day. Today (Friday), customers can receive a $3 discount on a $10 order by using the code “NICD3OFF10” at checkout, with more deals to be announced.
