On Wednesday night, the Golden State Warriors got a glimpse of what their new-look veteran-led lineup could look like when the regular season rolls around. Steve Kerr opted to start Steph Curry, Moses Moody, Jimmy Butler, Draymond Green and free agent acquisition Al Horford.

However, it wasn’t the veterans who made headlines on Wednesday night. As the Blazers took an early lead in the first quarter, all signs pointed towards the Warriors dropping their first loss of the preseason. Heading into the fourth quarter, the Blazers held a 19-point lead.

Yet, with most of the starters on the bench, Golden State’s depth exploded in the fourth quarter. Behind 15 points from second-year big man Quinten Post and 14 points from rookie LJ Cryer, the Warriors tallied 51 points in the fourth quarter to steal the win in comeback fashion, 129-123.

Post, Cryer, Pat Spencer and rookie Will Richard helped the Warriors outscore the Blazers 51-26 in the final 12 minutes.

Post led the Warriors with 20 points on 7-of-14 shooting from the field with four made 3-pointers to go with four rebounds and two assists in 25 minutes off the bench.
