The Philadelphia Phillies entered the 2025 MLB playoffs as the favorites to win the World Series, followed by the Los Angeles Dodgers and Seattle Mariners. The Phillies would, eventually, fall to the Dodgers in the National League Division Series after losing in Game 4 on Thursday night.
On Wednesday, theToronto Blue Jays eliminated the New York Yankees and advanced to the ALCS. Toronto is the AL favorite, ahead of the Mariners, who are getting ready for Friday’s decisive Game 5 against theDetroit Tigers.
Meanwhile, theMilwaukee Brewerscould not close out theChicago Cubsin Thursday’s Game 4, and the two NL Central rivals will face off one last time this season in Game 5 on Saturday.
