In tonight’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Armaan makes his entrance at the hostel. Rihan and Priyanshu, who are in the middle of a heated argument over a towel, are taken aback upon seeing him.
Armaan introduces himself as the new contestant, prompting Rihan and Priyanshu to set a challenge: he must complete 50 push-ups to be allowed inside. Just as Armaan is about to finish, Abhira unexpectedly enters the room.
Armaan Faces Roommate
The sudden sight of her startles Armaan, Rihan, and Priyanshu. Rihan quickly tells Priyanshu to shield him from view. When Abhira questions the commotion, Armaan awkwardly explains that it’s because everyone is half-dressed.
Feeling embarrassed, Abhira promptly exits. Left alone, Rihan and Priyanshu jokingly order Armaan to prepare Maggi for them as a consequence of “losing” the challenge.
Meanwhile, Kajal and Vidya are taken aback to hear that Armaan has joined Abhira’s college. Observing their reactions, Maira comments that Armaan must have anticipated this and brings up matters of love. Kaveri, upset with Maira’s remark, asks Vidya to switch off the TV, complaining that Maira is being spoiled.
Abhira Confronts Myra
Soon, Abhira calls Vidya, requesting that she hand the phone over to Maira. Vidya hesitates with excuses, but Abhira insists she knows Maira is on the line. When Maira takes the call, Abhira asks her directly about Armaan’s admission. Surprised, Maira asks if Armaan is actually at Abhira’s college. Abhira pushes her to stop pretending and confront her intentions regarding Armaan, but Maira avoids giving a direct answer.
Later, Sapna, Dipti, and other hostel girls offer Armaan their support. Armaan demands that coffee be made for his roommates, which leaves Abhira surprised to see so many girls attending to him. He then chases after Abhira, confronting her about his decision to join her college.

Armaan expresses that he wants to give their relationship another shot. Abhira reminds him that they have already been given multiple chances. Both attempt to convince each other of their feelings. Abhira suggests starting anew, and Armaan agrees, declaring himself ready for a “love test.” He says that whether he succeeds or fails, he will be content, either with victory or with knowing he tried.
They both agree to start afresh, seeing each other as individuals. Armaan formally tries to reintroduce himself, but Abhira challenges him to figure out who she is, then walks away. From behind, Armaan calls out playfully, “Ohh Sharma ji,” making Abhira blush instantly. He teases her, reminding her about how she called him “cheese ki factory” like she used to before, which makes Abhira smile as she continues walking. Armaan, thrilled by the interaction, can’t hide his excitement.
Diwali Preparations Spark Family Debate
Back at home, Kaveri asks Maira if she spoke with Abhira. Maira clarifies that she called Armaan and noticed he sounded happy. She urges everyone to start preparing for Diwali, but Vidya points out that the festival is still some time away. Kajal suggests that Tanya and Krish should conduct the Diwali puja. Vidya objects, citing Tanya’s low blood pressure and Krish’s tendency to argue, criticising their dynamic.
Kajal counters that Vidya’s real motive is to ensure Armaan and Abhira perform the puja together. Vidya defends herself, stating that the younger generation deserves the opportunity. Kajal argues that by that reasoning, the youth will never get a chance.
Vidya accuses Kajal of being overly concerned with her own children, and Kajal fires back, claiming Vidya is just as fixated on Armaan and Abhira reuniting, despite their separation. Kaveri intervenes, telling them to stop quarrelling in front of Maira and reminding everyone to focus on Karwa Chauth preparations first. Curious, Maira asks Kaveri whether Kajal is correct in saying Armaan and Abhira might never reunite.
Elsewhere, Abhira discovers that Lavanya is spying on Armaan for Dipti. She checks Armaan’s social media, which makes her feel uneasy.
Precap for the Next Episode
In the precap, the hostel students playfully urge Abhira and Armaan to kiss. As Abhira leans in to peck Armaan on the cheek, the group cheers loudly. Later, Armaan confronts his roommates, teasing that while they were enjoying the moment, he and Abhira were mortified, before telling them to carry on with their chatter as he heads out.
Meanwhile, back in Abhira’s room, her housemates notice her blushing and comment on how cute her chemistry with Armaan looks. She tries to deny it, but they insist it’s obvious.
In the next scene, Armaan spots Abhira sneaking glances at him. She responds with a shy, broad smile from a distance, prompting Armaan to smile back. Blushing, Abhira hides behind a pillar, trying to compose herself while still grinning.
