Javonte Floyd, a post prospect in the 2026 class from Atlanta, Georgia, will officially visit UCLA in October, and he said he’s “excited to see UCLA and another side of the country.”
The 6-9, 225-pounder hasn’t been recruited by UCLA for too long — really since the summer when Floyd emerged as a force in the Nike EYBL.
He’s a strong, athletic post who plays tough and with energy. He flashed playing with the southeast-based AAU team, NightRydas, and that garnered him a great deal of new recruiting attention. He received offers and interest from the likes of LSU, Texas, Georgia, Mississippi State, Iowa, Marquette, Tennessee and many others.
