Long before Labubu, Takashi Murakami‘s anime-inspired Superflat characters were turning everything from Louis Vuitton Speedy bags to Major League Baseball gear into fashion gold.

The Japanese artist is teaming again with Casetify on a second CoLab collection ($32 to $950) featuring his Kaikai and Kiki characters on tech accessories and travel gear. The whimsical duo (who represent innocence and mischief) and Murakami’s signature Flowers are seen on customizable Impact cases for Apple, Google and Samsung devices, including iPhone 16 Pro Max, iPad, Galaxy Z Fold7 and Flip7, Pixel 9 Pro and other phone and tablet models.

Casetify’s new Bounce luggage also get the Murakami treatment with 21-inch carry-on and 29-inch trunk suitcases in glossy pink, black and red available for customization.

The collection also includes collectible earbud cases (limited to two per person), phone case danglers, AirPods Pro 2 holders, Apple Watch bands, phone charms, laptop sleeves, Snappy cardholder stands, MagSafe-compatible wallets, two-in-one charging stands, magnetic wireless chargers, car chargers, grip stands and power banks. Phone case danglers come in blind boxes and contain Kaikai or Kiki in classic, sepia or mono colorways; they’re limited to four per person.

Murakami’s Kaikai and Kiki are inspired by the works of prominent 16th-century Japanese painter Kanō Eitoku, and the playful characters represent “the dual forces that drive artistic expression and the spirit of collaboration at the heart of Murakami’s world,” per a release.

“I’m delighted that the next chapter of my collection has come to life on the modern canvas of Casetify,” Murakami explains in a statement. “Among my characters, Kaikai and Kiki are the only twin figures, embodying charm, mischief and a full spectrum of emotions.”

The Casetify x Murakami Kaikai and Kiki collection is also popping in Los Angeles at Complex’s store (433 N. Fairfax Ave.) from July 17 to 19. Casetify’s flagship store in Dosan, South Korea, will also host special activations to celebrate the CoLab.

Murakami first joined forces with Casetify last year for a collection that highlighted Mr. Dob, a manga-meets-Mickey Mouse character that the artist has said represents his alter ego. That capsule quickly sold out, so don’t be surprised if Kaikai and Kiki also fly off the brand’s virtual shelves.

The Tokyo-born creative most recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of his Louis Vuitton collection, which was rereleased this year in two chapters. Zendaya starred in the French fashion house’s campaign for the revived capsule, which as originally seen in the 2000s on Jennifer Lopez, Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie and others.
