EastEnders spoilers follow for the week after next (the episodes airing 20 — 23 October).
Zoe Slater’s return in EastEnders has led to one drama after another – she has a missing child, she almost killed a man, she’s been sleeping with Max Branning, to name a few – and it looks like she’s got another secret up her sleeve that’s set to rock her family soon.
The BBC has released advanced – if vague – spoilers for the episodes airing later in October, and it looks like the Slaters will be featuring quite heavily.

While details are a bit thin on the ground at the moment, we know that Kat will be concerned about her family and decides to face things directly, which leads to Zoe dropping another major bombshell.

It doesn’t look like it will be the main storyline of the week, however.
That honour goes to Nigel Bates, with the spoilers revealing that he’ll do something bad that his wife Julie will cover up. It will lead to a clash as Nigel is insistent on being honest.
The timing of this storyline is interesting, as Phil Mitchell is away in Portugal for a few weeks. He’s clashed quite a lot with Julie over how to handle Nigel and his dementia, so will the events of this week affect that dynamic?

Monday, 20 October – 7.30pm
Nigel makes a reckless decision that has serious consequences, George’s suspicions are raised, and Kat is consumed by worry for her family.
Tuesday, 21 October – 7.30pm
Nigel reels from his actions, Kat makes a worrying discovery, and Johnny considers a new business venture.
Wednesday, 22 October – 7.30pm
Julie attempts to conceal the truth, and Kat decides to face a situation head-on.
Thursday, 23 October – 7.30pm
Zoe drops a bombshell, and Nigel is determined for the truth to come out.
EastEnders airs on Mondays-Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
