Andrew Cristall didn’t take long to register his first professional point.

In his AHL debut with the Hershey Bears, Cristall registered the secondary assist on an Ethen Frank goal 28 seconds into the second period. And he did so after taking a hit in the defensive zone to make a play.

Cristall chipped the puck down the wall to Henrik Rybinski, who found Frank with speed streaking down the left wing. Frank took care of the rest, beating Syracuse Crunch goaltender Brandon Halverson as he took the puck strong to the net.

On the first line’s very next shift together, they struck again 4:01 later to give Hershey a 2-0 lead. Frank deflected a Louie Belpedio point shot past Halverson from the slot. Cristall again got the secondary assist after getting the puck to Belpedio from the half wall.

Not only did Cristall register a personal milestone in his first AHL game, but he also got Hershey Bears fans cheese sticks, garnering him a roar from the Giant Center crowd.
