Here are the final results for the 2025 Illinois High School Association boys and girls golf state finals, which wrapped up Saturday at courses in Bloomington-Normal and Decatur.

Dunlap’s Nolan Eccles and Bureau Valley’s Wyatt Novotny both won individual state championships to lead the way for a Peoria area represented by 24 individuals and four teams across the finals.

Washington took second in the boys Class 2A state finals, tying Normal U-High with the same four-player total of 596 strokes — which determines a team’s total score. U-High won the tiebreaker and the title because its fifth lowest-scoring golfer had a lower score than Washington’s fifth lowest-scoring golfer.

IHSA state trophies were earned by the top three teams in each of the Class 1A, Class 2A and Class 3A boys finals and the Class 1A and 2A girls finals. The top 10 golfers in each event earned state medals.
