Watch the Brewers clubhouse celebration after clinching the NLDS
Watch the Brewers clubhouse celebration after clinching the NLDS on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at American Family Field in Milwaukee.
On Oct. 12, Milwaukee sports fans heard the Green Bay Packers’ radio broadcast on 97.3 The Game.
On Oct. 13, they heard … adult contemporary music?
Following layoffs of high-profile members of its sports-talk roster, parent company iHeartMedia changed the format of the station as part of a restructure, turning it into B97.3 FM at noon Oct. 13, starting with “Happy” by Pharrell Williams.
A source said the remaining sports personalities remain employed and will continue with their regular lineup of shows on the online iHeartRadio app and in 1070 The Game in Madison. The Milwaukee Brewers postgame show hosted by Tim Allen will air in the Milwaukee market on Oct. 13 on WOKY AM-920.
“Absolutely jaw dropping,” former morning-show host Steve Czaban posted on social media, mere days after Czaban and co-host Brian Butch were let go. “In the middle of the Brewers historic feel good World Series run, and a possible Super Bowl season for the Packers. Wow. My heart hearts for everyone. Thank you to all of our listeners. We’re sorry.”
It’s unclear what the change will mean, if anything, for future Packers or Badgers broadcasts that had been airing on the channel in Milwaukee.
