Sandy Springs officer injured in shooting, suspect barricaded – WSB-TV Channel 2

NORTH FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — A suspect is barricaded in a Sandy Springs neighborhood after police say shots were fired at officers.

One of the officers was injured in the shooting but is expected to be OK, a spokesperson told Channel 2 Action News.

The latest developments on Channel 2 Action News at 4:00 p.m.

Police have blocked off the area of Carroll Manor Drive and North River Parkway and SWAT are on the scene. They are asking the public to stay clear.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation confirmed it has been called to investigate.
