LARNED – The TMP-Marian girls golf team has qualified for the 3-1A State Golf Tournament. The Monarchs shot a 408 and finished third at the Larned Sub-State Monday at the Edwards Park Golf Course.
It’s the second-straight year the Monarchs have qualified for state and the fourth in the last five seasons.
The top three teams and top 10 individuals all qualify for next week’s 3-1A State Tournament at the Salina Municipal Golf Course.
The Monarchs Brynn Schoepf was top medalists with a 17-over par 89, one shot better than Larned’s Ariana Meyer. TMP’s Jenna Brull shot a 101 and placed eighth.
Cheney won the team title with a 401, Larned was second with a 404.
