Directed by Tara Wood (21 Years: Richard Linklater, QT8: The First Eight), Life in the Line features never-before-seen footage, interviews and artwork, spanning his early career at Disney to the makings of his films Batman (1989), Edward Scissorhands (1990) and The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993), as well as Netflix’s The Addams Family spinoff series Wednesday (2022-present).

The doc charts his creative legacy and ever-growing following of misfits and outsiders, painting a definitive portrait of Burton through interviews with some of his collaborators, including Johnny Depp, Winona Ryder, Helena Bonham Carter, Michael Keaton, Danny Elfman, Jenna Ortega, Christoph Waltz, Mia Wasikowska and more.

Available at TimBurtonLifeintheLine.com, the docuseries will be $24.99 for a five-day rental of all four episodes. It will also be available for purchase at $39.99 for standard release, or $74.99 for premium release, which features hours of bonus content.
