Kentucky held its annual Blue-White Game tonight at Historic Memorial Coliseum, but right now, no one is thinking about the actual basketball. Jaland Lowe went down with a shoulder injury in the second half and did not return. Blue went on to win 35-26, a score that felt like it didn’t matter much until we got an update on Kentucky’s starting point guard’s status.
After the game, Mark Pope said that Lowe tweaked his shoulder and sat out the remainder of the game as a precaution. KSR was in the building and heard Lowe say that his shoulder popped out of place. They’ll start tonight’s Rapid Reaction with the latest on Lowe’s shoulder and then get to the game, which was pretty entertaining until we were all scared out of our minds. Thankfully, Kentucky’s got a lot of guards should Lowe need to sit out a little bit.
