No Kings protesters to create human banner at SF’s Ocean Beach
A group of protesters will create a human banner at San Francisco’s Ocean Beach at 11 a.m. Saturday in response to the actions taken by the Trump administration.

US Sen. Schiff has message to CA protesters ahead of No Kings rallies
Ahead of “No Kings Day” rallies across California on Saturday, U.S. Senator Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) released a video message in support of those protesting.
“Whether you’re a group of dozens of people in Truckee, or tens of thousands of people in San Francisco, there is nothing more American than standing up. Not just for yourself, but for your neighbors, and for an idea,” he said. “The miracle of this country is that power begins and ends with the people who grant it. So today, in towns and cities across this nation, we say it again, we have no kings in America.”

Road closures announced in SF ahead of No Kings march
The city of San Francisco announced road closures in the city Saturday ahead of the planned No Kings rally and march.
The following streets will be closed from 1:15 to 2 p.m.:
Market from Beale to Steuart
Steuart from Market to Howard
Spear from Market to Folsom
Main from Market to Howard
All intersections with Mission Street will remain open
The following streets will be closed from 2 to 4 p.m.:
Market from Eighth to Steuart
Hyde from McAllister to Market
Grove from Market to Van Ness
