WOOSTER, Ohio – The annual Buckeye Book Fair, which boasts an extensive collection of on-site authors touting a diverse array of genres, is coming up.

The fair is 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, at Greystone Event Center.

The one-stop shopping affair is perfect for bibliophiles and holiday gift seekers, with more than 100 authors scheduled to sell and sign their books. More than 300 titles will be available.

Read-aloud sessions are scheduled, as are workshops and author-panel discussions. But mostly it’s a chance for folks to saunter up and down aisles, meeting authors and buying books.

Participants include:

• Children’s-book author Lindsay Bonilla of North Canton.

• Comic-book creator and Pulitzer Prize finalist Tom Batiuk of Medina.

• Fantasy-adventure author Cinda Williams Chima.

• Patrick Ryan, whose book “Buckeye” was released this year.

• Agatha Award-winning mystery writer Amanda Flower.

Admission is suggested donation of $2. Checkout is centralized, so you don’t have to pay each author. Cash, check and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover) are accepted.

Greystone is at 50 Riffel Road, Wooster. A parking lot is on site. It’s 57 miles from downtown Cleveland.
