The Golden Stags struggled to respond in the fourth quarter, allowing EAC to widen the gap and hold the lead throughout the game.
Jude Bagay’s 17-point output on 63.6 percent field goal shooting efficiency allowed him to take the player of the game plum.
“It starts with practice, and I am just translating whatever I do in our training,” he said during post game.
Because of his slick moves and shooting form, Bagay was compared to NBA basketball legend Kobe Bryant.
“I am practicing that, doing the shoot, and the post,” he said while laughing after learning about the wild comparison.
Wilmar Oftana showed consistency after tallying a double-double performance of 18 points, along with 10 rebounds.
San Sebastian was led by Jhuniel Dela Rama, who made 20 points, 15 rebounds, and three steals, but the Generals were too much to conquer.
The Generals came to dominate the paint after shooting 25 out of their 27 attempts (67.6 percent), while the Golden Stags struggled with 14 out of 25 shooting (56 percent).
