Welcome all to a really early one between the Washington Capitals and Vancouver Canucks at Capital One Arena.
The Capitals will look to extend their early-season winning streak to five games as they take on a Canucks team that is effectively playing a 9:30 am game back home. The Canucks have won two in a row coming into the game, downing the Dallas Stars and the Chicago Blackhawks.
Charlie Lindgren will get his second start of the season after he shut out the New York Rangers a week ago. The Capitals will be without Pierre-Luc Dubois for a third straight game after he was placed on injured reserve on Saturday. Trevor van Riemsdyk will jump back into the lineup for Declan Chisholm.
Puck drop for Capitals-Canucks is at 12:30 pm on Monumental Sports Network. Joe Beninati and Craig Laughlin will have the call on MNMT.
