Minnesota Vikings cornerback Isaiah Rodgers said Monday morning that he has received “some of the most racist comments” he’s ever seen or read in the aftermath of Sunday’s 28-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
“Stay solid or stay silent,” Rodgers posted on X.
Some of the most racist comments I ever seen or read since i enter the league . 😂😂😂😂

He also shared a screenshot of messages on Instagram. One said “ur worse than Hitler.” Another used the N-word. The same user who sent the initial message later apologized.
Rodgers, 27, was a key figure in the Vikings’ loss to the Eagles. It’s not just that Rodgers played last year in Philadelphia, but he also was involved in some of the critical pass defense mishaps. Eagles receiver DeVonta Smith hauled in a 79-yarder over the middle of the field with Rodgers as the nearest defender. And then, to ice the game, Eagles wideout A.J. Brown double-moved Rodgers for a 45-yard pass. Rodgers spoke to reporters after game, shouldering responsibility for both plays.
“I put it on me,” Rodgers said. “I’ve just got to make those plays. I came here for a reason. Those types of plays I know I can make.”
In March, the Vikings signed Rodgers to a two-year deal worth up to $15 million. He was named the NFC defensive player of the week with a historic, two-defensive-touchdown performance that featured an interception, two forced fumbles and three tackles during a Week 3 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. He’s a starter for a Vikings defense that will have a chance to respond Thursday night in Los Angeles against the Chargers.
