Teen Mom star resurfaces for first time in 6 years and reveals dramatic new look with gray hair

TEEN Mom star Leah Messer’s baby daddy, Jeremy Calvert, has resurfaced and debuted his new look after years out of the spotlight.

Jeremy, 36, is the father of Leah‘s youngest daughter, Addie, 11, and was married to the Teen Mom 2 star for three years before they split in 2015.

While Jeremy often shied away from the limelight, he appeared to step away for good six years ago, as he distanced himself from the show.

However, the West Virginia native has reemerged on social media, and fans can’t get over how different he looks compared to his reality TV days.

He posted several photos of himself showcasing his gray hair, beard, and tattooed arms on Instagram over the weekend.

Jeremy also explained his years-long silence in two separate posts on his Stories.

In the first post, Leah’s ex-husband wrote, “Holy f**k, after 6 years I’m allowed back into this account.”

He then appeared to address some news, saying that he’s “mind blown and sickened” by the revelations.

Jeremy didn’t clarify what he was referring to, leaving fans to make their own assumptions, which they did in a Reddit thread highlighting the posts.

ROCKY ROAD

Leah’s relationship with her ex-husband had been tumultuous, even in the years after their divorce.

In December 2023, The U.S. Sun exclusively reported that Leah, 33, filed a protective order against Jeremy after allegedly getting “harassed” by his “new wife” at her workplace.

Leah’s manager told the police that Jeremy and his partner appeared to be under the influence at the time.

The police narrative stated that Leah was “visibly upset” by the incident and was fearful of Jeremy’s significant other’s “aggressive” behavior.

The MTV star was granted the protective order, and the exes were on amicable terms thereafter, according to a May 2024 article by In Touch Weekly.

Jeremy appeared to retreat from the cameras while Leah continued her run on Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, which documented her life raising her three daughters.

In addition to Addie, Leah is a mom to 15-year-old twins, Ali and Aleeah, whom she shares with her ex, Corey Simms.

The TV star has been working in real estate and sold her first home in January after years of career struggles.

THE SHOW’S FATE

Leah branching away from reality TV seemed imminent as the show’s future isn’t looking bright.

The U.S. Sun exclusively revealed in July that the show might have been canceled after Leah’s co-star, Ryan Edwards, claimed he was no longer employed by MTV.

Shortly before, Briana DeJesus’ sister Brittany, who also appeared on the series, revealed the show’s cancellation in a since-deleted social media comment.

Leah first appeared on MTV’s 16 & Pregnant before joining the spin-off series, Teen Mom 2.

The network later consolidated Teen Mom OG and Teen Mom 2 to form Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, on which Leah had starred since 2022.

The U.S. Sun previously reported that MTV executives allegedly already planned when the series would conclude, but it’s unknown what the “network will ultimately decide.”
