Senne Lammens was unfortunate not to secure back-to-back Premier League clean sheets for Manchester United after another solid display between the sticks.
The United star denied Alexander Isak from scoring for Liverpool, while he impressed with closing down Mohamed Salah during a dangerous threat.
Lammens’ performance earned him high praise from former United star Lee Sharpe, who even made a major comparison with Red Devils legend David de Gea.
“Very David de Gea-esque, with his feet,” he said on MUTV.
“Stands up makes it difficult for Isak. Very encouraging for the goalkeeper [and] for his confidence.
“He’s handling the pressure like a seasoned veteran.”

Bryan Mbeumo opened the scoring for United in the opening five minutes against Liverpool before Cody Gakpo found the equaliser for the Reds in the second half.
However, Harry Maguire’s headed effort in the 84th minute ensured that United sealed all three Premier League points against the defending league champions.
Former United player David May, much like Lee Sharpe, found himself praising the quality that Lammens showed at Anfield in the huge Premier League clash.
“The ‘keeper was absolutely fantastic; he really was,” he said.
Following United’s 2-1 win over Liverpool, Ruben Amorim’s men will now return to Premier League action against Brighton at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.
