A total of 63 players from 14 Big 12 programs will be on rosters as the National Basketball Association opens its 2025-26 schedule on October 21.
 
Several rookies are included in the list, including first-round picks VJ Edgecombe (Baylor/Philadelphia), Egor Demin (BYU/Brooklyn), and Carter Bryant (Arizona/San Antonio). Hunter Dickinson (Kansas/New Orleans), Curtis Jones (Iowa State/Denver), Caleb Love (Arizona/Portland), and Javon Small (West Virginia/Memphis) are other members of last season’s All-Big 12 First Team to be rostered as the season starts.
 
In addition, five NBA head coaches have Big 12 ties. Boston’s Joe Mazzulla (West Virginia), Golden State’s Steve Kerr (Arizona), Orlando’s Jamahl Mosley (Colorado) and Portland’s Chauncey Billups (Colorado) played at Big 12 institutions, while Dallas’ Jason Kidd is a member of the league’s Business Advisory Board.
