John Stamos will always love Lori Loughlin — just not like that.
The actor, 62, discussed if he would ever have a sexual liaison or even leave his wife, Caitlin McHugh, for Loughlin, 61, who famously played Aunt Becky, the wife of Stamos’ Full House character Jesse Katsopolis.
“A lot of people were like, ‘Oh, you guys were romantic,’” Stamos dished on the October 20 episode of the Good Guys podcast, recalling what fans have said about the on-screen couple’s chemistry.
“I happened to say she was the one who got away in something, and I think it was before I met [my wife] Caitlin, and it was an interesting thing,” he continue.
Host Ben Soffer explained that he had asked podcast listeners before his interview with Stamos if they had any inquiries for him — and according to him, “The biggest question was, ‘Come on. Aunt Becky. Bring her in. Bring her into the fold.”

The General Hospital star firmly shut down the question, saying: “A threesome? No.”
Soffer then added, “They didn’t ask that. They asked, ‘Would you leave your wife for her?’ We’re not doing that.”
“No f***ing way,” Stamos insisted.
“I’m not Mormon,” he said, alluding to the idea of not having multiple wives or an open marriage.
The ER actor has been married to McHugh since 2018 and they share one son, 7-year-old Billy.
Loughlin was married to fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli from 1997 up until their separation earlier this month.
