CNN was interrupted by a bombshell breaking news update – and it spelled trouble for Donald Trump.

The network was in the middle of a segment on Trump’s attempts to minimize the Jeffrey Epstein controversy when calls for the release of the convicted sex offender’s alleged “client list” intensified. Trump has written off these demands as “a hoax,” even raging at a journalist for bringing up the disgraced financier.

The President fumed, “You’re asking… we have Texas, we have this, we have all this, all the things- are people still talking about this guy, this creep? That is unbelievable. Do you want to waste the time?”

CNN didn’t hold back in challenging Trump, with an anchor highlighting, “As for Trump calling it a hoax, it was not a hoax in 2015 when Trump used the scandal to try to attack his opponents.”

The broadcast then featured a throwback clip from 2015 where Trump weighed in on Bill Clinton, saying, “Nice guy… got a lot of problems coming up in my opinion with the famous island with Jeffrey Epstein, lot of problems.”

During this charged exchange, a breaking news ticker flashed, “Far-right activist warns Trump: Epstein case could ‘consume’ second term,” adding tension to the broadcast.

During a White House press briefing, when Pam Bondi was questioned about the rumored list, President Trump reinforced his stance of not addressing inquiries regarding Epstein. A journalist asked, “Your memo and release yesterday on Jeffrey Epstein, it left some lingering mysteries.

“One of the biggest ones is whether he ever worked for an American intelligence agency, the former labour secretary who is Miami District Attorney, Alex Acosta. He allegedly said that he did work for an intelligence agency. So can you resolve whether or not he did?”

An irate Trump responded, “I can’t believe you’re asking a question on Epstein at a time like this where we’re having some of the greatest success and also tragedy, with what happened in Texas. It just seems, er, like a desecration. But you go ahead.”
