SPOKANE, Wash. — Prior to a season that’s sure to see Gonzaga big man Graham Ike pick up several awards, the 6-foot-9 senior landed his first preseason honor.

Ike was named to the 2025-26 CBS Sports Preseason All-America Third Team, along with St. John’s Zuby Ejiofor, Kansas State’s PJ Haggerty, Houston’s Milos Uzan and NC State’s Darrion Williams.

“Ike has become the best version of himself at Gonzaga. He is an utter mauler who overwhelms opposing big men with power and finesse in the paint,” CBS Sports writer Isaac Trotter said in the article. “Even without the brilliant Ryan Nembhard to spoon-feed him good look after good look, Ike should still dominate offensively in this Zags scheme. Oh, and he drilled a career-high 13 3-pointers, splashed 81% of his free throws and posted the best assist rate of his tenure last year. Ike feels like an utter lock for WCC Player of the Year.”

After last season, Ike landed on the All-WCC first team for the second straight year after leading Gonzaga in scoring for nearly the entire season and being the team’s most reliable player on the floor, especially in the post.

Ike was the WCC’s fourth-leading scorer and Gonzaga’s top scorer, averaging 17.3 points per game while ranking fifth in the league in rebounding with 7.4 boards per game. Ike also led the WCC in field goals (200) and field-goal percentage (nearly 60%).

After leading GU to the WCC Tournament championship, Ike was named the tournament MVP after totaling 38 points and 17 boards in the Zags’ two-game run to the title.

Ike and the Zags return to the floor to host Western Oregon on Monday for the final exhibition game of the year. The game will air on KHQ and stream on SWXLocalSports.com.
