It was a doozy of a win on Tuesday night for the Oklahoma City Thunder, which held off a good effort from the Houston Rockets in game one of 82.

OKC topped Houston 125-124 in double-overtime.

A late foul from Kevin Durant on a shot from Shai Gilegous-Alexander gave SGA and the Thunder the game-winning free throws.

It was back-and-forth over the final 15-20 minutes of gameplay.

This Cason Wallace three-pointer pulled Oklahoma City into the lead late in the second OT.

OKC survived shooting just 28-percent from three and getting outrebounded 73-49 on the night.

SGA finished with 35. Chet Holmgren had 28, he fouled out before the final buzzer.

Thunder 1-0 and next goes to Indiana for an NBA Finals rematch at 6:30 on Thursday night.
