Iraola on Brooks and Evanlison last weekend after his side’s draw(via the Bournemouth Echo): “I wouldn’t say a few weeks. Right now, he’s [Evanilson] definitely out today. It’s going to be difficult for next one but it’s a small injury in the soleus.I hope he doesn’t lose a lot of games but I don’t know. I have no idea.”
“Both of them [with David Brooks’ issue that kept him out of the Palace trip] are small injuries, are muscle injuries.Brooks coming from the national team and Evanilson in training, small injuries. I don’t know how I cannot tell you if it’s one week, two weeks, three weeks. I don’t know.”

However, he was forced off in the first half after sustaining a knock to the hip, causing concern over his fitness.

Hurzeler on Gomez’s injury after the Newcastle win (via Sussex World): “I don’t think it’s the same injury. I think it’s a hit on his hip. I can’t give any more information, but we have to wait for the scan.”

Gomez was spotted in training, though, ahead of their trip to Old Trafford, according to the aforementioned outlet.

Veltman, Mitoma, and Gruda are doubtful.

Adam Webster, Solly March, and Jack Hinshelwood are still out.

Grealish will return to the starting XI after missing Everton’s 2-0 defeat to his parent club, Man City, due to a clause in his loan contract.

Bad news for Everton fans. Jarrad Branthwaite has suffered a major setback in his recovery. It was reported that he had returned to training but it has now been revealed that he will undergo surgery on his hamstring and is set for an extended time off.

Merlin Rohl made his return last weekend in a 20-minute appearance against Man City. He will be available.

Fulham

Fulham GW9 Predicted formation:

4-2-3-1

Fulham GW9 Predicted lineup:

Leno

Castagne – Cuenca – Diop – Sessegnon

Berge – Lukic

H.Wilson – King – Iwobi

Jiminez

Latest Updates:

Lukic picked up an injury against Bournemouth and missed their Arsenal clash last weekend, while Cairney endured an issue against Arsenal. Both players have returned to fitness and are in contention against Newcastle this weekend. Lukic has started all 7 fixtures he was available for, so he should return to the starting lineup.

Silva on Lukic and Cairney: “Tom Cairney, nothing special [with the injury] as we expected, is going to be in contention. Saša Lukić is going to be in contention. The response from him has been very good. Top professional, top guy. He takes care of himself in a top way. He trained today again, let’s see how he’s going to be tomorrow.”

Tete is back in contention after returning to the squad last weekend.

Silva on Tete: “Starting from the back, Kenny was already involved in the last game – not 100 per cent, but he was already on the bench. He has had a good week so far and he is going to be in contention for the game.”

Joachim Andersen sustained a muscle injury against Arsenal and is out for the Newcastle game, joining Muniz, Robinson, and Chukwueze on the sidelines.

Silva on their injuries: “Joachim Andersen, as we expected and as I mentioned after the match, has a muscle injury. It’s not so serious, but he is going to be out and not available for the Newcastle match, Antonee Robinson neither, as well. Chukwueze still out, Rodrigo out.”

Harry Wilson is doubtful. He started last weekend against Arsenal, but was apparently playing through a knock he sustained on international duty.

Silva on Wilson: “About Harry Wilson, he got a knock with the national team, a small issue. He made the squad to play against Arsenal, but let’s see if he’s going to be ready or not. Yesterday he was not in the condition, today he didn’t train as well. Let’s see tomorrow how he reacts. Nothing really serious, but let’s see how he is going to be tomorrow, and after I will take a decision.”

Leeds

Leeds GW9 Predicted formation

Leeds GW9 Predicted lineup:

Darlow

Bogle – Struijk – Rodon – Gudmundsson

Longstaff – Ampadu- Stach

Aaronson – Calvert Lewin – Okafor

Leeds team news:

Gnoto is likely out, while Okafor, who missed last weekend’s defeat to Burnley after a late injury, may or may not be available.

Farke on Okafor and Gnoto: “Obviously, we have a few problems in the offence in terms of availability. Noah Okafor and Willy Gnonto are making some good progress in their rehab but they were not able to complete the whole team training during this week so far.”
“We will definitely take some late decisions. Obviously, Noah was not out as long as Willy. Perhaps for him it is a bit more realistic to be involved but we will see.”

Ampadu and Struijk are doubtful as well, as they are ill.

Farke on Ampadu and Struijk: “Also, a few players are struggling with illnesses at the moment, like probably the whole country is doing at the moment. Also, Ethan Ampadu and Pascal Struijk missed team training today, so also question marks about their availability.”

Daniel James and Lucas Perri returned with appearances off the bench last weekend and are available

Liverpool Team News and Key Notes:

Frimpong and Isak are out after being forced off in Liverpool’s 5-1 win over Frankfurt this week. Frimpong was subbed off after just 20 minutes due to a hamstring injury, while Isak sustained a groin injury and was replaced at half-time.

Slot on Frimpong: “Jeremie is a hamstring issue. He came back from a hamstring injury a few weeks ago and played for the national team one game, came back to us and now unfortunately after 10, 15 minutes, I don’t know, he had to go off.”

Slot on Isak: “Alex had to go off at half-time and that’s the difficult balance we were having with him. When he came, he hardly had trained, so you bring him step by step forward and then you feel there must be a moment where he can play twice a week – he did it with Sweden as well. But the first time we tried he had to go off and let’s hope it is not that bad. He had to come off because he felt his groin. Many people told me they wanted me to play him more and we had to find the balance and unfortunately that balance didn’t work out for us today perfectly. Let’s hope for the best. Both of them did what I was hoping for, making runs in behind, making sure they were a big threat and both of them did well.”
“He did not come back [from the international break] with an injury. I said that he missed out [on] pre-season and didn’t train for a long time with the team. He came on the first of September, so we had to bring him towards once a week and now we try to bring him to twice a week, which he did for the national team. But he was perfectly fit when he came back from the national team and he was perfectly fit before the United game, and we were expecting him to be ready to play again today – which he did but he felt his groin, indeed, a little bit.”

Gravenberch is doubtful for this weekend. He picked up an ankle injury against Man United last weekend and missed the Frankfurt clash.

Slot on Gravenberch in his pre-Frankfurt press conference: “Yeah, I had to take him off during the weekend because he limped a little bit, as we could all see. So, unfortunately, he’s not ready to play tomorrow.”
“Ryan is not available for the Frankfurt game, hopefully he will be available at the weekend. But it’s an ankle injury, we have to wait and see, give him a bit of time and see where he is when we come back from Frankfurt.”

Endo is doubtful.

Alisson, Giovanni Leoni, Stefan Bajcetic, and Jayden Danns are out.

Wood is doubtful as he is struggling with a knee issue. The striker played 15 minutes against Chelsea last weekend, but he is a doubt for Dyche’s first game in charge against Porto in the Europa League tonight.

Dyche on Wood (via Nottinghamshire Live): “Woody got a knock. We’re wondering whether it’s going to settle down – it’s probably touch and go at the moment, because it does need settling down. He’s been off the grass. We’re going to have to be touch and go and see how that one is. We will see how he is.”

Kudus – Xavi Simmons – Odobert

Richarlison

Spurs team news:

Romero is doubtful after missing Spurs’ midweek UCL clash against Monaco and their defeat to Villa last weekend due to an adductor strain. Kevin Danso has started their last 2 fixtures in his place.

Frank on Romero in his pre-match press conference before Monaco: “It’s an adductor strain. We will assess it more this week before we come with any timeframe. No, I don’t think [it’s a cause for concern]. For me it’s an adductor strain. We’ll assess him this week and then we’ll know more.”

Udogie did not travel with the squad to Monaco and is a doubt for this weekend’s clash against Everton.

Frank on Udogie before the Monaco clash: “No. The latest is that he got that knee irritation after the international duty. That we are assessing and working very hard to get on top of. We’ll know more probably, you know, day by day, or in the next week.”

Odobert is doubtful too after being forced off due to some pain against Monaco.

Frank on Odobert after the Monaco draw: “Actually, I don’t know, but of course we subbed him off because there was some pain, but I don’t know the consequences of it.”

Maddison, Kulusevski, Solanke, Bissouma, and Dragusin are out.
