The episode begins with Will visiting Luna in prison. She expresses her gratitude for his concern for their baby and urges him to help her. Using emotional blackmail, Luna rubs her belly and tries to manipulate Will. Although her words seem to momentarily sway him, Will quickly makes it clear that he won’t be fooled.

Deke’s first day at work

Apart from carrying out his tasks, Deke engages in conversation around Electra. He recalls her comments on Luna and her sudden arrival at Remy’s apartment. Meanwhile, Will returns after meeting Luna and recaps their conversation. After hearing it, Electra suspected that he had concerns about his children’s mother. She believes that Will couldn’t differentiate between his care for the mother and the child.

Deacon and Taylor’s bond develops

At the office, Taylor asks Deacon if he still struggles with trust issues when it comes to Sheila. Deacon can’t give her a clear answer, so Taylor offers one herself. She explains that he and Sheila are co-dependent due to trauma bonding and goes on to remind him more about Sheila’s past misdeeds. When Deacon asks if she is suggesting he leave Sheila, Taylor replies, “Your heart hasn’t failed you yet. Listen to it.”

Sheila claims to be a changed person

After his therapy session concluded, Deacon met Deke, who had his first day at work. Deke and Deacon go to lunch as the former is eager to learn the latest on his father’s therapy and marriage. At Taylor’s office, Sheila arrives and asks if she has time to discuss things. Sheila insisted that she talk about Deacon’s therapy, further trying to reassure her that she is now a good person. Taylor was hesitant, but Sheila went on to remind her that she saved Steffy from Luna.

Sheila shares her fears

Deke revealed to Deacon that he really wanted him to leave Sheila. Deacon was upset about Sheila; on the other hand, he expressed his gratitude towards Taylor. He said, “I’m very lucky to have her in my life.” Despite Sheila’s attempt to prove herself to be a good person, Taylor questions her lie about Luna. Sheila reveals that Deacon is everything to her and that her granddaughter is no longer a threat to worry about.

Electra’s concerns over Will and Luna

Electra and Will discuss how Luna’s pregnancy is affecting their relationship. Will suggest that no matter what happens, they won’t stay apart. But there are chances that Electra might get worried about Will’s growing concerns over Luna and the baby.
