Sofía Vergara was amongst a star-studded crowd celebrating the release of Hollywood’s favorite eyebrow queen Anastasia Soare’s new book, appropriately titled Raising Brows: My Story of Building a Billion-Dollar Beauty Empire.
On October 23, Vergara wore a plunging LBD with lace-up detailing to the Raising Brows Live event in Los Angeles, hosted by Oprah Winfrey and attended by Eva Longoria, Cindy Crawford, and Sharon Stone. Winfrey and Soare—who is the founder and CEO of Anastasia Beverly Hills—spoke about “resilience, relentless vision, taking risks, and putting your passion into action,” according to the official website for the event (and per The Daily Mail).

Vergara wore her brunette hair parted down the middle and wore sunglasses for her appearance on the red carpet on Thursday. Her long-sleeved, corset-styled dress was paired with strappy black sandals, and she polished her look off with a nude lip, a black clutch, and bracelets on her right wrist.

Vergara’s appearance happened the same week her ex-husband Joe Manganiello announced his engagement to Caitlin O’Connor over two years after Vergara and Manganiello split in 2023. Speaking on Today back in May, Vergara said that in her next relationship, she’s looking for “the basic stuff, like health and somebody that loves me. And somebody tall, handsome. I want somebody that has as much money as me or more, because if not, it’s a nightmare. They end up resenting you.”
The Modern Family actress said she’s looking for “somebody fun. I need fun in my life.”
Vergara has also admitted that she “panicked” after getting divorced, adding, “I was like, ‘I’m 52, what’s gonna happen? Where am I going to find [someone]?’”

At 53 now, she said, “I’m not really in a hurry anymore,” though she did admit to People last year that it can be “hard” to date once you’re over 50. “It’s already hard for a 50-something-year-old woman to find someone,” she said. “I’m not going to be picky about, ‘Oh, he can only be a doctor. Oh, he can only be an astronaut.’ No, I mean, I’m not that picky.”
An added element is fame, she continued, telling the outlet that “Everything gets so exaggerated. Everything sometimes gets not interpreted the right way. So life is already hard. Having relationships is hard. Problems are hard. And then to see it out there and be completely changed, you want to be like, ‘What is going on?’ But you just get used to it. It comes with being famous, so you can’t complain that much.”

After being forced to miss the Emmys last month—ending up in the emergency room instead with an eye infection—Vergara is hitting her stride. Prior to Thursday’s outing, she attended the Victoria Beckham show on October 3 during Paris Fashion Week, where she once again wore a plunging black number—that time a low-cut black bodysuit tucked into white pants with a chic white blazer draped over her shoulders.
