Eagle Mountain — On Friday evening, two vehicles were involved in a head on collision on SR73 at the intersection of Eagle Mountain Blvd.
Sgt, Ray Ormond with the Utah County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that this happened at approximately 7:00 p.m. when a truck pulling a trailer pulled out in front of another vehicle on SR73.
Sgt. Ormond also said that one driver was transported to the hospital with injuries of possible head and chest trauma, though not life threatening.
The driver of the truck has been arrested for a DUI and is being booked into the Utah County jail.
The road was temporally closed but by approximately 9:00 p.m. the roads were cleared.
