Carson Daly and his family are embracing their first Halloween as pet owners.
Carson, wife Siri and their four children, Jackson, Etta, London and Goldie, have welcomed a 20-pound Cockapoo named Bucky.

Siri Daly says Bucky officially joined the family almost exactly one year ago, on Nov. 1, 2024.
She also sheds some light on the dual meanings of Bucky’s name.
“Named after the Winter Soldier (aka Captain America’s best friend from the ‘Avengers’) but a bonus is that I went to college in Wisconsin and our mascot was named Bucky,” she tells TODAY.com.
“He’s the best!” she adds in a message accompanied by plenty of family photos.

On TODAY Oct. 24, Carson shared that they plan to dress up Bucky for his first Halloween.
“We’re going to put a little coffee lid. He’s going to be a Starbucks puppuccino,” Carson said about their new pooch’s costume.
Puppuccinos, or “pup cups,” are a famed Starbucks secret menu item intended for canine friends, consisting simply of a whipped cream dollop served in an espresso-sized cup.
“That’s cute. I love that,” Savannah Guthrie said, while Craig Melvin laughed.

While the Daly family may be new to pet ownership, Carson is no stranger to four-legged friends. In 2018, Sunny, TODAY’s puppy with a purpose, visited him on the set of “The Voice” in Los Angeles. Carson showed off a photo of the pooch in his trailer alongside pictures of his own family.
“It’s unanimous. All of the coaches are Team Sunny,” he said, referring to then-coaches Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton and Jennifer Hudson.
